Our History
Águia africana is a project born straight from God’s heart. At the age of 13 while still a student in the United States Of America, during one of my training sessions, I envisioned helping people play the game of Basketball with great understanding of the sport. I went on to build a great career as a player, had great impact in the leagues I played and Internationally with my national team. I helped many people within the sport throughout my career, but, In 2014, I realized that despite being at the top of my game and in the best moment of my career, I couldn’t do everything I had envisioned when I was only 13 years old. In the same year, 2014, I travelled back to Indiana, United States Of America. In this trip I happened to meet with Mr Elizandro J. Gonçalves of EPM, Mr Elizandro spoke prophetically over my life and confirmed the dream I had when I was a simple 13 year old kid aspiring to play Basketball. After that encounter I had no doubt that the dream I had was from God.
Thus, ÁGUIA AFRICANA BASKETBALL, and the DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE that aims to recruit athletes, develop them mentally, spiritually and scientifically within and outside the court was born.
ÁGUIA AFRICANA BASKETBALL is a branch of BRIGHT FUTURE ENTERPRISE, a company founded in partnership with Ester Duete, my mother. ÁGUIA AFRICANA BASKETBALL is also in business relationship with EPM mentorship.
